My Supervisor's History
Let me introduce you to April, the founder of Dr. Mom Digital Marketing. She is a working woman, PhD graduate, leader, innovator, researcher, publisher, inspiring author, and wife. However, her most important title will always be “Mom”.
April has spent over ten years working with thought leaders while earning four different college degrees. This extensive experience allows her and her team, to be the best partner for your business in promoting what you love. She specializes in the health, wellness, medical, and insurance spaces, but her expertise can benefit almost any type of business.
The DMDM Group has been highly successful in assisting service providers in generating leads and filling gaps in their schedules through targeted marketing campaigns.
Digital marketing, for April, is a blend of science and art. Her experience in elevating and managing several corporate projects and various volunteer work has provided her with a well-rounded skill set. She loves helping business owners share their passions with the world through the lens of digital marketing.
Once April discovered that she could help others chase their dreams, she became truly excited about this venture. This led her to start her own company, Dr. Mom Digital Marketing. She has decided to use this platform to support and connect with others, and she is grateful for the opportunity to walk this journey with you.

April my internship supervisor is the CEO of the company; she makes sure everything is running smoothly along with has the duty to get her message of her business out there to others so that she may help them in their journey as a business. She assigns projects, has daily meetings with clients or potential clients, and so much more. She solely started this company after leaving the corporate America so that she could help other businesses.
Site Monitoring's
My internship site used both SharePoint and the progress board Monday to help organize and monitor all their projects and assignments. On these sites you can live track all open projects and boards as they are being worked on and can update anyone easily with how the work is coming along or if there are any problems or questions concerning any open projects.
During the time things are worked on you may either go into the office and clock in or keep daily logs for the number of hours you work on said project or how long you worked during the day on multiple project boards. At the end of each week, you would send your logs of your hours to April, and she will get you compensated for your work.
Each project opened is assigned out by the CEO April herself to who is best suited for the job. They are evaluated by position and what they do in the company. I was unfortunately not told how they monitor their budgets as she kept that from me considering I was working as an unpaid intern for her business.
